On a good note, I've got a fan in Australia now. Someone there bought all 4 of my series books in one day. So I'm assuming it's the same person. I hope they enjoy them and come back for more in the future.

Sitting at home in the midst of winter storm, Sparta. It's dumped about 6 to 6 1/2 inches of snow so far, with another 3 inches possible. That is sitting on top of about 4 inches of snow already on the ground.

It's a good thing I didn't have to go to work today. There's no way I'd be dug out soon enough to make it. So I'm not going anywhere at all, unless it's an emergency. And someone's car not starting, or being stuck somewhere doesn't qualify as an emergency. My car sits low, and I'd probably get stuck trying to get to someone.

So has anyone else been affected by Sparta? Or maybe Thor? Let us know.

Thanks.

As the months go by without me writing anything, I feel kind of like I'm being lazy. I need to get back to writing my next novel, but the time never seems to be right to dedicate the time I need to get it the way I want it.

However, I have been making time to play guitar on an almost daily basis. I have been playing again for just over a year now. I had laid the guitars down for nearly 14 years without hardly touching them. I'm not nearly as good as I was, but I am doing pretty well, considering the long layoff. I wish I'd not taken that much time away from playing, but life happens, and time is not something you can make appear out of thin air.

So what have all of you been up to this winter?

Grab a paperback for those holiday airport layovers. If you're into suspenseful thrillers, then this one might be up your alley. Go check it out. Thanks in advance.

World's End, a novel.

I would like to take this time to wish everyone that celebrates it, a Merry Christmas. I'm glad to be a part of your lives, even if it's just for an escape from reality with one of my books. I'm honored to have you as a reader, and I hope to continue on in the future.

Thank you,

Jim Bannon
